I was torn between two cocktails and when my chosen one arrived it wasn't quite to my taste and Nick instantly took it away to swap it for the other without hesitation. Nick was great in explaining all of our options and was on had with any recommendations we needed. We got off to the best start as our table was decorated with stars and a happy birthday card. he was not only attentive, but really friendly and ensured we had everything we needed for the perfect meal. From the moment we stepped in we knew we were in good hands and Andy the host was so friendly and welcoming. If you're debating dinner at Eddie V's I can't emphasise enough how much you need to go here. They are either understaffed or not trained in service. Not impressed with the bar service at all. Ended up asking another customer if they were familiar with the IPAs and took their advice and ordered the Lunch IPA from Maine. Didn’t realize it was $26!!! It wasn’t even that good. I am an IPA drinker but had never heard of those being offered. One was handling drinks from the diners, one ringing the registrar for a while, one was washing glasses, and one was walking around. Sat for 10 min before anyone acknowledge us. The lobster bisque was also so good that I’m afraid I’ll be disappointed if I order from another restaurant. You should probably order sides as there are no accompaniments. The food was fantastic: Seared Ahi Tuna…excellent. The restaurant was perfect! Our sever, Courtney, was fun and charming as well as very attentive.
